South Africa: Mamelodi Sundowns separates from legend Hlompho Kekana

Hlompho Kekana bade farewell to Mamelodi Sundowns on Monday August 30th. The South African formation has indeed expressed the wish to separate from Kekana. He also offered the former midfielder of Bafana Bafana two options. Either integrate the coaching structure or be loaned to another club if he wants to continue playing.

The 36-year-old has simply decided to leave. The South African spent ten years in this legendary club in Pretoria . “Thank you for 10 years of memories, lessons and experience,” he posted on his twitter account. He won the CAF Champions League in 2016 with the “Brazilians”.

Kekana is one of the most successful players in the South African Premier League. During his career, the former Supersport United resident has won eight titles.
