South African Dean Burmester triumphs in Tenerife

Dean Burmester wins the Tenerife Open

South African golfer  Dean Burmester  won  the Tenerife Open European tour  this Sunday. The tournament was held from April 29 to May 2 in the Spanish city.

Burmester entered the final day at Golf Costa Adeje with a header but topped his rivals with five birdies on the first seven holes. He wins four more strokes over the last nine to finish 25 for the tournament, five ahead of his main challenger, the German Nicolai Von Dellingshausen.

At 31, Burmester lifted his second European Tour title in more than four years.
