TP Mazembe: Katumbi comforts Pamphile Mihayo
TP Mazembe is in a bad spot in the CAF Champions League. The Lubumbashi club lost to Mamelodi Sundowns this weekend and therefore only have two points after three days. Results that make people talk in DR Congo. Some have also thought that the future of Pamphile Mihayo on the bench of TP Mazembe was threatened. But the boss of the Ravens, Moise Katumbi does not think about it.
He reinforces Pamphile in his functions by addressing supporters directly. “It is not because he is an African coach that he should be criticized so much. The defeat of the team is collective. We must look to the future. Our qualification is quite possible. You are the 12th man and currently the players miss you ” confided the president of TP Mazembe.
Moise Katumbi then draws a parallel with FC Barcelona. “Even the big teams in Europe like FC Barcelona lose home games. Because there are no fans in the stadium. Let us be united, strong and let us keep hope. Nothing is lost yet ” he concluded.
