Triangular tournament: Mozambique wins its competition

The Mambas of Mozambique were sovereign in their tournament

Despite a draw conceded Tuesday night in Maputo against Eswatini (1-1), Mozambique won the triangular tournament it organized, and in which Lesotho also participated.

The Mambas’ goal was scored by Estevao, the LD Maputo striker, while Samdile Gamedze (Young Buffaloes) scored that of the Sihlangu Semnitaki. The two teams each finished with four points, but Mozambique, thanks to its large victory against Lesotho (5-0, on June 2), is ahead of Eswatini on goal difference, the latter not having beaten Likuena. than by the smallest of the margins (1-0, June 5)
