Tunisia: the Federation sanctions three referees
The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) suspends three referees
The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) announced on its Facebook page the suspension of three referees. They are assistant referee Tarek Jelassi, suspended until the end of the season, and central referees Oussama Ben Ishak and Yosri Bouali, deprived of their practice for three months. The latter officiated the match Etoile du Sahel – CS Chebba (0-2) on the occasion of the 5th day of the Tunisian championship.
And, as during the Classico between Club Africain and Etoile, the arbitration was very much criticized on social networks this Sunday, November 7. The president of the large Sousse formation, Maher Karoui, even accused arbitration of constituting a mafia that hovers above the rules.
Etoile du Sahel occupies 6 th place in group B with only 4 points on the clock. At the same time its great rival from the Sahel, US Monastir is leader with 11 points and without any conceding goal.
