The Moroccans will play well in the 4 th round of qualifying for the U20 Women’s World Cup scheduled for Costa Rica next year. They indeed beat, this Sunday, at the Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat, The Gambia by the large score of 6 goals to 0.
Sofia Al-Bouftini, the defender of AS FAR, illustrated herself in this return confrontation by achieving a hat-trick (2 ‘, 15’ and 56 ‘). In the meantime, Kaoutar Mahy went there with his small goal (47 ‘), while Hajar Jbelou and Anfal Al Yamani (Beysen-Norway) were responsible for increasing the score at the end of the game (74’ and 91 ‘).
In the first leg, the Moroccans had already taken the best of the game with a score of 3 to 1. Bodes well for the rest of the qualifiers. The other matches of this 3 rd round are scheduled for next weekend. Congo, beaten 4-0 by Nigeria, withdrew for the return.
