Ethiopian national football team coach Wubetu Abate has called 25 players. The Walias are in fact preparing for the 3rd and 4th day of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Ethiopia will face South Africa on October 8, 2021 in Addis Ababa. Then the Wubetu Abate players will travel to the Bafana Bafana on October 11. Ethiopia shares its group with Zimbabwe, Ghana and South Africa.
The Walias are currently third in Group G with three points. They indeed dominated Zimbabwe at home (1-0, 2nd day). But they had suffered a defeat against Ghana (1-0, 1st day).
