Jamal Sellami is said to be very close to leaving Raja Casablanca.  The manager is expected to lead his last game against Egyptians Pyramids FC on Sunday (April 4th).  The technician, whose departure is strongly requested by the supporters, has finally decided to throw in the towel despite the confidence that has been renewed by the management team. The pressure of the demanding Rajaoui public weighed on the scales.

For the moment, the Raja leadership has not commented on Sellami’s fate.  But his departure would only be a matter of hours. Behind the scenes, the Raja is even active to find a successor.

Sellami’s record at the head of the Greens remains positive all the same.  The technician allowed the Casablanca team to regain the taste for the title after six years of waiting and a semi-final of the CAF Champions League.  He also led the team to the Arab Cup final.  However, his failure in qualifying for the Champions League and during the Casablanca derby despite a workforce did task.
