Arab Nations Cup (F): Algeria in search of a second coronation

Algeria is the ultra favorite of the Arab Cup of Nations Ladies which is played in Cairo from August 24 to September 5

Egypt is hosting the Women’s Arab Nations Cup from August 24 to September 5 . This third edition will see the participation of seven countries including four African selections. These are the host country, Sudan, Tunisia and Algeria.

The Egyptian selection will try to win this tournament for the first time. She will face Sudan this Tuesday, August 24 (5 p.m. GMT).

The Algerians hope to lift the trophy for the second time . The Algerian team was indeed sacred during the first edition in Cairo in 2006. The task will not be easy. Especially since the Algerian coach, Radhia Fertoul, reveals that the preparation of her players has been interrupted because of the Covid-19. Despite everything, Algeria remains the favorite of the competition.
