COSAFA Cup (F): South Africa-Malawi, Tanzania-Zambia, for the semi-finals
We now know the qualified for the semi-finals of the COSAFA Cup ladies. These are the host country, South Africa, Zambia, Malawi and Tanzania.

The guest of the COSAFA Cup , Tanzania is the first team to have validated its ticket for the semi-finals. She finished first in Group B with nine points. The Tanzanians have indeed made a flawless course during the group matches. They will cross Zambia in the semi-final. The Zambians took the lead in Group C with nine points as well. The Coopers Queens beat Uganda with difficulty (1-0), the other guest of the tournament for the last match of this group. And it was the captain of the Zambian team, Grace Chandi, who scored the only goal of the match (37th).
The other semi-final will feature the top two from Pool A. South Africa took the lead with seven points. The Banyana Banyana dominated Mozambique (3-1) Sunday, October 4th. The Malawians finished second in the tournament. They total six points behind the South Africans. The two teams having shared the same pool, should not compete in the semi-finals according to the competition regulations. But the organizing committee decided otherwise. The five-time defending champion, South Africa had even won against Malawi (2-1). It will also be the remake of the semi-final of the previous edition which saw the victory of Team SA (6-2).
