Ivory Coast: Siaka Tiéné joins the staff of the Elephants

Siaka Tiéné when he played for PSG

Siaka Tiéné (39 years old) was appointed to the staff of the selection of Côte d’Ivoire.

The Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) announced the news. She specified that the former international defender will have to bring to the Elephants his “experience and his expertise” .

During his professional career, the retired footballer has played notably at PSG, Montpellier and Valenciennes. In addition, he is part of the Ivorian team, champion of Africa in 2015.

Siaka Tiéné was part of the Ivorian delegation present this Tuesday, August 17 in Yaoundé, Cameroon, for the needs of the CAN 2021 draw .

Côte d’Ivoire is housed in Group E , along with Algeria, Sierra Leone and Equatorial Guinea.
