US Open: South African Lloyd Harris stops in quarterfinals

South African Lloyd Harris, eliminated in US Open quarter-finals

Lloyd Harris falls to Alexander Zverev (No.4) at the US Open . The 24-year-old South African played his first American Grand Slam quarter-final on Wednesday, September 8.

The world No. 46 unfortunately lost in three sets. Yet Harris made a good start. He indeed lost the first round in the tie-break (7-6). But the German was much stronger tonight. Zverev won easily in the last two sets (6-3, 6-4).

The African n ° 1 can still be delighted with his career. Harris qualified in the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time in his career.
