Women’s CAN: Guinea promises to get up against Senegal
Djénéba Tandjan’s Guinea lose their first match
Guinea loses its first match of the women’s handball CAN which is currently taking place in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The Guineans bow in fact 27-30 to Tunisia. For captain Djénéba Tandjan, interviewed at a post-match press conference, we should not be alarmed, however. “ This is only the first game. We will prepare ourselves so that we can get up in the next two games. Throughout the game, we were weak in defense, particularly on the pivots ” regrets the captain.
