Tanzanian gospel recording artist Joel Lwaga joins forces with Bongo Flava superstar Diamond Platnumz for a powerful new song titled “Nikumbuke.”
The heartfelt collaboration is built around the vulnerable prayer of someone patiently waiting for God’s appointed time. While watching blessings unfold in the lives of others, the song turns feelings of pain, uncertainty, and longing into an honest request for God not to forget those still waiting for their breakthrough.
“Nikumbuke,” meaning “Remember Me,” carries a message of faith without jealousy. Joel Lwaga acknowledges that God knows him personally, yet honestly expresses the moments when waiting becomes painful and overwhelming.
Diamond Platnumz brings the message closer to everyday life, touching on financial struggles, rent, provision, and the simple desire for stability. Together, Joel and Diamond deliver an emotional prayer for anyone trusting God while going through a difficult season.
