Inyenyeri z’Ijuru Choir has once again shared the good news with its fans through a new song titled “NZIRATA ” (I Will Boast In Jesus) a song that reflects on the true value of a person and why Jesus Christ alone deserves our boast above all else in this world.
The message contained in this song is based on the idea that the things many people rejoice in and boast about in this world do not last. Life, wealth, and physical strength all have an end, and therefore a person should think about what is truly worthy of boasting about something with value beyond what is visible.
In the lyrics of the song, the singers say:
“I looked to boast in this body, I found that my body decays.I looked to boast that I have wealth, I found that what I have perishes. I looked to boast that I am strong, I found that even the strong also die.But in all this, there is one thing I can boast about more than anything else: it is Jesus who saved me.”
These words reveal a profound lesson about human life. The body that a person boasts in does not last, the wealth one may accumulate disappears, and even the strength people pride themselves on cannot prevent death from coming. It is a message that encourages everyone not to base their worth on temporary things, but to remember what is essential concerning their salvation.
The uniqueness of this song lies in its central theme: *boasting in Jesus who redeemed mankind, rather than boasting in signs of worldly glory.
Through the song “NZIRATA YESU“the *Inyenyeri z’Ijuru Choir* reminds listeners that boasting in Jesus is not just words, but knowing His love, accepting what He has done for them, and living a life that gives Him glory.
The main message is this: Worldly things pass away, but Jesus is the One who deserves to be boasted about above all else.
