Arkansas police in the United States (USA) say they have arrested a 30-year-old man in Fayetteville, after he shot his wife for refusing to have sex.
According to local police, the incident began on August 11, 2021, when a man damaged his wife’s use of their car in the afternoon’s scheduling, a dispute that has since escalated.
They quarreled again after the man died asking the woman to have sex, but the woman refused.
The woman told police that the man immediately grabbed the gun and shot her in the head, trying to shoot her, but that the bullet did not go out, and then the woman turned around to get out of the room they were in.
When he arrived, his neighbor immediately called 911 when it was his phone number in the country when someone had a problem and he needed immediate help.
The injured woman was rushed to a nearby hospital after police and paramedics arrived, but police arrived and found the man still missing at his home, and was later arrested at Springdale in North Fayetteville.
While questioning the police, the man said “the reason he shot his wife was because he wanted her out of life.”
He later told police that a shotgun had been fired at him at Lake Fayetteville shortly before he was arrested by security forces.
The man is now in custody, but there is hope that the woman can recover.
