Guillaume Rutembesa is 31 years old Rwandan, Human Rights Activist, a Blogger, and single father of one little girl, He has been living in Kenya since 2016 when He was granted Asylum till he went missing on 06.11.2020.
As a Blogger, he has been a voice to the voiceless Rwandans where he continuously denounced Abuse and Human Rights violation in Rwanda. He became a High critic of Rwandan Government.
Last month of October. 2020, Mr Rutembesa shared exclusive information on the Extravagant life of the family of President Paul Kagame of Rwanda. The first family was not happy as was expressed by the first daughter on her twitter account.
Exclusive information leaked says Mr Rutembesa is detained in Rwanda, under RIB (Rwanda Investigation Bureau). Mr Rutembesa had no arrest warrant, he was abducted and brought back to Rwanda illegally. This case of abduction from Rwandan agents is the second in 3 months as The Human Rights activist Paul Rusesabagina was also abducted in August on His trip to Dubai.
We ask for the Government of Kenya to ask for the immediate release of Rutembesa as He was abducted on Kenyan soil, and this was the violation of the sovereignty of Kenya as a country. We are also asking for the UNHCR to follow this case as this man was under their protection.
