East African Report Sends Its Own Journalists to Goma, Bukavu and Kamanyola to Report the Ground Truth

By: East African Report | Kakuma / Goma | November 5, 2026

East African Report has deployed its own journalists to Eastern Congo to report original stories directly from the ground.

Our team has arrived in Goma, after passing through Kamanyola and Bukavu, to listen to the people, to see daily life, and to report what is really happening — not what is said from far away.

The journalists will report on:
– Life in Goma, Bukavu and Kamanyola today
– Markets, schools, and daily movement of people
– What residents themselves say about security and calm
– Stories that are not covered by other media

> “We did not send others. We sent our own. They are there to see, to hear, and to tell the truth from the ground,” said the East African Report editorial team.

East African Report will publish the first ground reports from Goma and Bukavu in the coming days.

Stay with East African Report — RADIO • WEB — for original stories from Congo.
